Herring Campaign

Along with our campaign partners, we are working to protect sea herring, river herring and all of the fish, fisheries and jobs that depend on them from damage caused by poorly managed industrial fishing.

Groundfish and Sectors

The End Overfishing Campaign empowers local fishermen to help improve groundfish fisheries. Through our sector, local fishermen work collectively to harvest a combined quota of fish.

The scope of the Hook Association's policy program has expanded to include other state and federal fisheries, which include advocacy in the skate, monkfish, dogfish and scallop fisheries.

Nantucket Soundkeeper

The Nantucket Soundkeeper program serves as the official steward of Nantucket Sound, as dedicated by the international Waterkeeper Alliance.
