A Chatham native, Karen Ryder hails from three generations of commercial fishermen. A graduate of Tulane University, Karen received her bachelor’s degree in French and International Relations. Before coming to the Hook, she worked for seven years as a systems analyst, implementing SAP computer systems for major companies in the aerospace and defense industry. Karen also has experience in web design and is fluent in French and Spanish.
