Tom Rudolph is the Operations Director for our Atlantic Herring Campaign, in which we partner with a large, diverse and growing array of regional partners to protect forage fish in New England in order to protect the marine environment and all of the fisheries that depend on it. Tom has been with CCCHFA since 2003, and previously directed our cooperative research program. It was in that capacity that his experience conducting studies with electronic monitoring on herring vessels inspired his transition to the Fisheries Reform Campaign. That work opened his eyes to the lack of effective monitoring in the herring fishery, and to the solutions that could fix the problem. He is a graduate of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University.
