Sue arrived at CCCHFA in January 2009 from the Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound, where she was involved in the campaign to protect Nantucket Sound from industrialization. Her background in environmental issues stems back to the early 1980’s when she worked for the County of Barnstable water resources program, before moving on to serve as Executive Director for the Association to Preserve Cape Cod for 12 years. Later Sue worked as a policy analyst for Horsley Witten Group environmental consultants in Sandwich, prior to joining the Alliance. Now with CCCHFA, Sue heads up the organization’s ongoing programs and efforts in the realm of fisheries conservation, sustainable fishing, and preserving our local community fishing heritage.
