As the Hook’s head observer, Scott can usually be found outside of the office. He spends most of his time on the water observing fishermen in the Georges Bank Fixed Gear Sector. An Attleboro native, Scott graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in coastal studies, where he spent two semesters abroad. He traveled to nine countries during a semester at sea, and then studied juvenile lemon sharks in the Turks and Caicos. Scott came to the Hook in 2006 as an intern, and became a staff member a year later. Now living in Eastham, Scott continues to fish and clam recreationally.
