Michael served on the CCCHFA Board of Directors from January 2008 to November 2011; during the majority of his tenure, he served as Treasurer.
He previously worked in New York as Assistant Commissioner of Ports & Terminals and ran Boston’s Economic Development & Industrial Corp, which converted a prior naval shipyard into Boston Marine Industrial Park. For 12 years he also ran a Community Development Corporation (CDC) in Chelsea. He joined the board of CCCHFA in 2008 and was elected Treasurer in April 2009. He wants to help strengthen Chatham and other towns on the Cape & Islands as fishing and shellfishing communities.
